We have moved!

We are loving our new premises at 712 High St Armadale

Things are finally settling down after a very busy few weeks. Our new shop and showroom has a funky new hanging system and now we can display many of our lights that were previously locked away in boxes. When we have finished the upstairs fit out we are planning a little celebration but in the meantime we are getting ready for the spring and it’s “business as usual”. Pop in and see us!

DesignEx 2013

What a success we had at Designex 2013! Everybody loved our stand showing what could be done with pendant lights in a Loggia. We launched our new “Agostino” pendant which was a huge hit and our petite “Uovo”, great clustered over an outdoor dining area.

LEAD UP TO DESIGNEX 2013

A lucky few architects received a gift with their invitation to Designex of our new ‘hatched egg’. Shining bright this season is the petite ‘Uovo’ egg light, a beautiful, organic hand crafted piece in translucent porcelain, suspended from a translucent cord. Standing at 140mm high x 120mm diameter, ‘Uovo’ is ideal for clustered hanging over a dining table in an outdoor room or loggia, making an eye-catching feature for evening entertaining.

Light on Landscape, are unveiling a sample of their dynamic new collection for 2013 at DesignEx. Designed to bring life and illumination to exterior spaces, Amander Flaherty, took inspiration from recent travels to Italy to create the sophisticated 2013 collection. Featuring the Agostino a lantern, this stunning luminaire draws reference from the grand dining room lanterns of the 1920’s passenger liners that sailed the Italian Mediterranean.

Also debuting at DesignEx is the petite Uovo egg light, a beautiful, organic piece in translucent porcelain. Uovo is ideal for clustered hanging over an outdoor dining table, making an eye-catching feature for evening entertaining.Light on Landscape will be at designEX 30th May – 1st June 2013 at the Melbourne Convention & Exhibition Centre – Stand 210.

Project: Harcourt Street

Accentuating its stately garden and striking architecture were the goals behind this property’s lighting design. Completed in 2011, this exquisite Hawthorn property is a standout residential project. The lighting design provides a bridge between the rich textures of the property’s garden and imposing heritage architecture of the house. The design called for a diverse range of products combined with bespoke components to achieve the client’s wishes.

Custom-built lanterns accentuated paths around the property, while accent lights were used to highlight specific plants. Extensive moonlighting was used to recast the garden in a defined, yet soft light.
